The order to do it in

How to make your Custingo

Follow these steps in order and your game comes out right the first time.

  1. 1

    Pick your photos

Choose 24 to 48 photos with one clear subject each: people, pets, places and big moments. 36 is the sweet spot, because it fills 3 full sheets of calling cards.

  2. 2

    Make it yours

Add your photos, title and logo in steps 1 to 3. Tap a photo to center a face or add a name.

  3. 3

    Buy and unlock

Press Buy & Unlock for $4.99. After checkout the watermark comes off by itself. Bought on Etsy? Enter your code instead.

  4. 4

    Get card stock

Step 5 tells you exactly how many sheets your set needs. Get a couple of extra for a test print.

  5. 5

    Print the alignment test

One page, once per printer. It makes the logos on the backs line up with the fronts.

  6. 6

    Print everything

Download everything and print it two-sided, in color, at Actual size.

  7. 7

    Cut

Cut the calling cards and markers on the dashed lines. A paper trimmer makes it quick and straight.

  8. 8

    Play

Hand out the boards and markers, pick a way to play, and call the first photo.

Why families love it

Your photos deserve more than a phone gallery

Most family photos sit in albums and phones where nobody looks at them. Custingo is where pictures go next: off the phone and onto the table, where everyone can see them, laugh about them and remember together.

A story in every square

Each call is a photo, and each photo starts a story: the wedding day, the old house, the first car, the haircut nobody will let Dad forget.

Every generation plays

Little kids match pictures, teens see their parents at their age, and grandparents finally get to tell the stories behind the photos.

Made for your gatherings

Shabbat and holiday tables, reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, sleepovers and rainy afternoons.

A gift nobody else has

Make a set for the grandparents, a milestone birthday or an anniversary. No store sells a game with your family in it.

Easy to make

Upload, personalize, print and cut. Custingo does the shuffling and the layout, so every board is different and every sheet is used.

Your photos stay yours

Everything happens in your browser, on your own device. Your photos are never uploaded to us.

Ways to play

One set, lots of games

Announce the winning pattern before each round and mix them up to keep everyone at the table.

Classic line

Five in a row across, down or corner to corner. The free center counts.

Four corners

Cover the four corner squares. A quick round for little kids.

Picture frame

Cover every square around the outside edge, like framing a photo.

Big X

Cover both diagonals. Harder than it looks.

Blackout

Cover the whole board. The longest game, perfect for the last round.

Twists that make it even more fun

  • Guess who. Use baby photos without names. Players have to work out who it is before they can cover it.
  • Caption only. The caller reads the name or caption out loud without showing the card.
  • Story time. Whoever remembers the moment tells the story before the next photo is called.
  • Teams. Pair little kids with grandparents or older cousins, one board per team.
  • Then and now. Mix old and new photos of the same people and see who spots them first.
  • Prizes. Candy, chocolate coins or first pick of dessert make every round exciting.
  • Big screen. On a regular weekday you can skip the calling cards: open the caller screen on a TV or laptop and press Next photo. It checks winning boards too.

Printing help

Two-sided and perfectly lined up

Most home printers can do this. Follow these steps and the logo on the back lands right behind every board and card.

Our recommendations

For the best results

This is what we use and recommend for a bingo set that looks and feels great.

  • Letter paper8.5 × 11 in. Custingo is designed for it. Choose A4 only if that's what your printer uses.
  • Card stock65 to 110 lb (176 to 300 g/m²), matte. Thin paper bends and photos show through.
  • 36 photosFills 3 full sheets of calling cards and makes every board different.
  • Clear, close-up photosOne person, pet or place per photo. Faces work best.
  • Two-sided printingAt Actual size, flip on long edge. Print the alignment test once first.
  • A paper trimmerStraight cuts in seconds. Scissors work too.
  • Sheet protectorsThey keep the boards clean for the next gathering.
  • Shabbat and holidaysPrint and cut everything beforehand. Paper markers mean no pens or screens.

Help

Questions

How do I unlock the clean PDFs?

Press Buy & Unlock ($4.99). Square's secure checkout opens in a new window or tab. When you've paid, the watermark comes off by itself, with your photos still in place. Bought on Etsy? Enter the code from your purchase instead.

I paid, but I still see the watermark.

Your purchase unlocks the browser you paid in. If you paid on a different phone, computer or browser, make your bingo there. Still stuck? Email us your Square receipt and we'll help right away.

How many photos do I need?

At least 24, the number of photos on one board. 36 is ideal: the boards differ more from each other and the calling cards fill 3 full sheets. Step 1 tells you how many to add or remove so no sheet has empty spots.

Is every board different?

Yes. Each board gets its own random mix, and every photo shows up on about the same number of boards.

Where do my photos go?

Nowhere. Custingo works in your browser on your own device. Your photos are never uploaded to us, and they stay saved in this browser so you can come back later.

What printer do I need?

Any home color printer that takes card stock. Two-sided printing makes it easiest, but it works with one-sided printers too. See Printing help above.

My Etsy code doesn't work.

Check the code for typos. Capital letters and spaces don't matter. Still stuck? Email us with your Etsy order number and we'll sort it out.

Questions or concerns?

We're happy to help with anything, from choosing photos to printing problems.
